The high birth rate is the main reason for providing family planning (KB) services. Family planning services aim to provide knowledge, information, and access to various methods of contraception so that couples can plan their families wisely. Data from the Program Performance and Accountability Survey (SKAP 2018) shows that young women tend to use short-term modern contraceptive methods, such as injections and birth control pills. This method of contraception is often used because it is easy to use and effective in preventing pregnancy. Meanwhile, older women tend to use long-term contraceptive methods, such as IUD (Intrauterine Device) and female sterilization. These long-term contraceptive methods tend to be more permanent and provide long- term protection against pregnancy. This type of research is analytic research with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were all couples of childbearing age in Pulau Bayur Village, Pemenang Selatan District, in 2022, totaling 163 PUS. The number of samples in this study were 62 people. This research was analyzed by univariate and bivariate. The election of 20 (32.3%) MKJP for PUS in the Family Planning Village program had positive husband support. respondents had a positive perception and 23 (37.1%) respondents had a positive attitude. There is a relationship between husband's support and mother's attitude with the choice of long-term contraceptive methods for PUS in the KB Village program. It is hoped that the South Pamenang Health Center, especially health workers, will increase counseling activities about MKJP contraception so that the use of MKJP contraception in the village will increase.
